Quilt Show 2010

The Common Thread Quilt Guild will be presenting their semi-annual quilt show in 2010. The theme for the show will be Gifts from the Heart. Keep watching our website for future updates.
The Gifts from the Heart Show will take place Mother's Day weekend May 7, 8 and 9, 2010. The Show will be held at the RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive in Ottawa, Ontario. The Show hours will be:
Friday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


PLEASE NOTE:

All members FULL members of the Common Thread Quilt Guild are eligible to enter quilts in the show. This means you must be registered as a member no later than December 31, 2009 to enter a quilt. New members (since January 1, 2010) may enter a quilt, but are ineligible for prizes.

AWARDS
Awards will be given in each category with the exception of challenge wall hangings and workshop projects, as follows:

First: $50.00

Second: $35.00

Third: $25.00

Note: In the event of a tie, the next level will be passed over,e.g. if there are two 1st place winners, the 2nd place will not be awarded.

Viewers' Choice: A ribbon and gift certificate valued at $50.00 Merchant ribbons will also be awarded- details to follow.
